International Day against Torture, 26th June 2022

(15 September 2022) On 26th June, 2022, African Center for Justice and Peace Studies (ACJPS) together with Darfur Bar Association and Lawyers Democratic Front held a symposium at the Sudanese lawyers club in commemoration of the International Day against Torture in Sudan.

The symposium was aimed at raising awareness of the justice sector, advocating for the domestication of CAT and the criminalization of the act of torture by the government of Sudan.
