International Day for Victims of Enforced Disappearance, 30th August 2022

(15 September 2022) As the world commemorated the International Day for Victims of Enforced Disappearance on 30th August, ACJPS together with OHCHR-Sudan and the Missing Initiative organised a public symposium & Exhibition on ED.

Participants discussed the ratification of CPPED, challenges and opportunities after ratification and the role of civil society in ending ED. Participants included families of victims, Embassies, CSOs, activists, lawyers and journalists.
